Congratulations to....tc7005.
You won these albums.
We'll be in touch.
Wait, this legendary 1989 debut isn't a "new release," is it? Technically, no, but fuck technicalities. Streetcleaner has been remastered (by Justin Broadrick himself) and reborn. This reissue serves to underscore the album's timelessness: A jewel-case redux featuring a bonus disc of unreleased material--alternate mixes, demos, and live cuts. Essential.
This thing ain't brand-spankin', either ('twas originally released last year on micro-label Scrotum Jus), but Earache released this thing back in April for one basic reason: It rules.
"23 tracks, 21 minutes of no frills, no scene bullshit, no trends, no Dying Fetus t shirts or kidde nu-grind spastics. This is full-on classic grindcore that culls from the likes of early Naplam Death and Terrorizer with a punk-fueled backbone, social/political lyrics layered with death metal production and tenacity..."
- Erik Thomas

Hailing from Michigan, these upstart deathcore purveyors (and crust punk slayers) boast a melodic savvy that many of their peers lack. The requisite breakdowns, bass drops, and gang vocals are still displayed in full-force; but spiraling, tasteful leads propel some serious ambition.
