Staff Infections 8.23.2010

Welcome to another edition of Staff Infections, where we rattle off the albums that have been dominating our lives in recent times.

In previous editions, we've posted a track from the most-citied selection to accompany each the text. However, in this case, we'll have to refrain from doing so, because Sony Music would probably castrate us and feed our gear to Jordin Sparks. Everyone's listening to the crown jewel of their roster: Iron Maiden. Specifically, the new album, The Final Frontier

So, instead of dining on a deep cut, you'll just have check out the video for the album's title track, "The Final Frontier The Final Frontier The Final Frontier The Final Frontier The Final Frontier," replete with, um, sound effects. And when you're done with that, scope out the other albums that have been polluting the MR airspace.

I'm a little surprised to see that only one of you is spinning "Say goodnight to the world" on a regular basis. As for my listening displeasure's:

Angel witch - s/t

vio-lence - Eternal nightmare

Dax riggs - Say goodnight to the world

Neurosis - times of grace

Ares kingdom - incendiary

The new Dax Riggs is bad-ass.   Absolutely killer.
