Tony Martin-era Sabbath will probably always be overlooked, but I loved The Headless Cross when it came out and it's still one of my favorite post-Ozzy Sabbath albums. Black Moon, Nightwing, When Death Calls, all excellent tunes. And overall it's probably Martin's best vocal performance with Sabbath.

The first time I saw Sabbath was with Tony Martin on the Forbidden tour. There were about 2,000 people in a 20,000 seat arena, so they made it general admission. My buddy and I sat in the second row. The show wasn't nearly as great as ones I've seen with Dio and Ozzy, but I still had a great time. Tony's voice was quite strong, and he did a good job getting the meager crowd into the show.
