This is a friendly reminder that another album thats a strong contender for my top 10 albums for 2008 comes out in one week from today (October 28th). I pre-ordered Beneath The Massacre's Dystopia the day after hearing some new songs live in August. They sound amazing live as you can read about here. Dystopia is one of those albums that becomes more enjoyable after listening to it 3 or 4 times. It doesn't have tracks like Society's Disposable Son or The System's Failure that are fan favorites from Mechanics of Dysfunction. However the entire album is solid delivering non-stop in your face technical brutality you would come to expect. In fact as the album progresses it only gets better with the best tracks arguably being Track 6 "Bitter" and Track 11 "Procreating the Infection".
I am eagerly waiting for this album to pop up in the review pipeline to see what everyone else thinks. Or you could give some pre-pre-lashes here!
To go by the MetalReview.com rating scale I would give this album a 6/5/5.5
