I cringe everytime I see that Diminishing Between Worlds got the number one spot. It's super cool at first, until the novelty wears off and you realize how immature the songwriting is, and how self-indulgently Sotello throws solos in there.

Gyms, especially the Life Time Fitnesses up here are total GAB FESTS.

There's always a group of dudes with imaginary lat syndrome standing there together bullshitting for 25 minutes and then they do a set of curls before going back to gabbing. Yes, those guys that only go into the gym and do arms; nothing else.

I'm like that right now. My girlfriend went back to NJ for the week and some nights drinking, listening to music, and watching tv. Right now I've only been looking forward to work and hanging out with my friend tomorrow to watch the tourney. Luckily she comes back Friday.

Tell ya what, Rev. I know precisely the state you're in. I live there when my wife and daughter go away for a while. I use to positively relish having the place to myself but it gets harder every time they leave. And I am an absolutely worthless fuck when they're gone. If they ever left me for good, it would be mere days before you'd find me aimlessly wandering the streets with my dick hanging out, babbling incoherently, eyes glazed over from too much booze and a diet of pure processed foods. Ha ha, it's not that bad... Fuck. Yes it is. The only thing that keeps me sane when they're gone is to do. Something. Anything. So I work a lot and plan a bunch of shit with friends for the time they're gone. Hang tough, potna.

I think it would have been better to just have listed those albums in no particular order and we would still have the individuals writers top lists. But its till an interesting selection. I do think not having Gojira's latest is criminal however!

Either way, this is by far the best metal review site and one of my favorite websites in general. More reviews please!!!

This list has convinced me to go back and relisten to several albums that I gave short shrift to when I first got them, namely Solient Green, Dismember, Hail of Bullets, and Decrepit Birth. I must say that I'm pleased with all four of them. I am shocked that nobody on this site has reviewed the mighty Cynic, or Krallice (which I do own and enjoy). My personal list would have had Opeth at the top and would have included Gojira, but I'm glad to be introduced to some bands I haven't listened to before, Grand Magus especially.
