Could not agree more about that Winterfylleth. It's way good and almost made my top 10, but just barely missed out. But yeah...it breezes by so quick cause it's just so good and captivating and next thing you know it's over. Dammit. But wow.

It is a pretty GOOD album though. Brings back nostalgia from the days of my first getting into Black Metal, and it's a new record. That's a sign of something that's noteworthy for sure.

Yeah, I imagined you might have trimmed your list thin for the sake of relevance and quality. The linkage you provided is highly appreciated, been checking some bands whom I'm tired of seeing referenced and not knowing what they sound like :)

Hey Ze. Yeah, I know about that site. I deliberately left out a bunch of BM releases from my list because I attempted to make a list of somewhat relevant BM releases. When I decided I'm gonna share it, I linked every release with a review/myspace page to give people a chance to see what an album is about in one click. A list of hundreds of BM releases where you can't see the forest from trees anymore, I did not find useful.

Not to disregard your hard work, but there's a site (pub.needlebase.com/.../V2Visualizer.do) that allows you to search within the metal-archives.com for a number of criteria, including genre and year. I think you guys are nuts! "Singular" is one of my favorite songs Enslaved ever wrote.....I can't wait until my copy of the new Inquisition arrives, as so many have given praise to the satanic duo, and I will never get sick of listening to "Magnificent Glorification of Lucifer.".....I now want to check out "Orphaned Land" and "Polarity" is the shit.....I can't get into Agalloch, and cannot understand why everyone is so high on it. The only thing GDubya and I have in common.

Don't worry, I agree on the Enslaved just like funeralthirst and a lot of other people on this site. It drops off and... just... keeps... dropping! But damn that first song rips. Cool to see Orphaned Land there. I really need to check them out further
