Twilight Frost:

Ha. I always loved English, but I never even considered majoring in it.

Speaking as another English major, it's sometimes wonderful, sometimes terrible. I'm just glad I have my other major (Women's Studies) to smooth out the rough patches.

Meshuggah will continue to suck, as they (pretty much) always have. Wolves in the Throne Room will write another awesome album this year. Someone will masturbate at Wacken this year between getting to see At the Gates and Carcass live. Atheist will continue to play live, hindered by Kelly's (now) garbage vocals, inability to play guitar, and glam rock wannabe look. Zune's will still be better than I-pod's. Iron Maiden's tour this year will be fucking amazing. Karl Sanders will visit Egypt for the first time, and after getting robbed and beat up, will decide it sucks... He will then disband Nile and create a Brutal, Technical Country/Death Metal band named after the most prominent river in the South: Mississippi. They too will suck ass. King Diamond will heal, and then do a badass tour. Malefic will be depressed. Dimmu Borgir will continue to be the Manowar of "Black Metal." Lee Altus will leave "Exodus" to focus on Heathen, realizing that this "Exodus" is fucking bullshit, and a disgrace to Bonded by Blood and even latter "party thrash" material.

And finally: Benediction will make an album with Nick Barker. It will suck, because Nick Barker will just constantly blast his way through a mid-paced Death Metal album.

It is. In most modern art degrees, you don't have to do extra classes, you just lose electives, which is the same as with me. The only bad thing is that you occasionally get an absurd amount of classes with heavy reading requirements, like I have this semester.

I liked everything from None to Chaosphere. Everything after that kinda sounded like some bullshit.

Thats a simplification of my view on the band. I just never thought, even early on, they were that great. I remember in Freshman year of High School thinking they sounded like a half-ass Slayer & Pantera ripoff.

I didn't like Catch 33 much at all but I like the new one well enough. It's not generally my cup of tea but I do like them in moderation.

I love what Meshuggah is doing these days.  Over time, Catch 33 hasn't quite lived up to I, but I really like both.  Can't wait to hear the new one.

I own "Nothing" but I rarely, rarely listen to it.  I know it's probably not the best excuse, but it's the monotone vocals that just don't sit right with me.

I've never really liked Meshuggah that well. I find their whole style a bit monotonous.

the very first Meshuggah record was pretty decent thrash, but I don't give a hoot about anything they've done since.

Oh yeah, and I predict that getting my wisdom teeth out over spring break will kinda suck. I hope I don't get dry sockets. Is 21 late for getting your wisdom teeth out?
