trezevant:Bloody Sign
I'm trying to figure out where or how I heard this band name before...Other than from you.

Well, I came across them on Invisible Oranges...they were featured on a list of the best old-school death metal albums of 2010. Chaos Echoes pretty much destroyed every other album on the list (including that Autopsy EP, frankly). They've apparently been around for fifteen years, but this is only their third full-length.

I've gotta get on it, especially since I'm a HUGE fan of old school death metal. That Bastard Priest album has been kicking my ass. That shit almost made my top ten. Can never get enough this style.
The Beatles - White Album
Our fellowship started the new year with:
Primordial - The Gathering Wilderness
Daylight Dies - Lost To The Living
Zoroaster - Matador
Ufomammut - Eve
Slough Feg - The Animal Spirits
I put this down way back in November, uncomfortable at how much I really didn't care for it. I knew it would sound better after a while (it does), although I still have a hard time not skipping through those 3 or 4 tunes in the middle.
I am ashamed to admit my memory is a bit hazy, due to a couple of bottles of Czech absinthe we had opened at 22:30. Still, I believe this was playing when the year changed:
Doro: Love Me in Black
Good taste.
I swear before I die I need to:
1. Go the Czech Republic and more of Eastern Europe
2. Have real absinthe.
on my way to work

Prague is the most beautiful city I've ever visited, and I've seen some doozies.
Anybody ever been to Bruges? I wanna go there way bad, especially after seeing In Bruges, which is a great flick. Though the movie could've made it look waaaaay better than it actually is.
