I'm going to see them tonight. If they don't click for me then, they never will. I just can't handle them in severe doses. Three songs and I'm out.
-
1. Cynic - Traced in Air 2. Gojira - The Way of All Flesh 3. Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God 4. Meshuggah - obZen 5. All Shall Perish - Awaken The Dreamers I'm sure there are more from early on in the year I should remember, that should be in my top 5, but I can't think of them.
Mesguggah - Nothing (most of my fellow metalheads dislike(d) this one...I have better taste!) Neuraxis - Truth Beyond (great album that few have heard) Opeth - Damnation
I'll agree to those. I will also add: Road to Bloodshed by Sanctity Open Fire by Alabama...
i probably picked the wrong album to start w/ but nothing was so boring i never will revisit the band, regardless of their popularity. to me they are in the same category as Neurosis
there are so many things wrong in this statement...... it bums me out, ha.

Love everything this band has done. I feel like this one of the few bands that actually push themselves to do new things with each release. Chaosphere is king. fin.
-
Agreed. I can't get into 'em either. It seems to be a love/hate thing.
-
I'm interested, but I haven't really liked anything since Chaosphere...and even then, they were a mere curiosity for me. I'll give it a go.
Meshuggah will continue to suck, as they (pretty much) always have.
fuck that dude, you can't deny this band has done some good shit.
-
Fuck yeah, cant wait for ObZen. Anyone know where can i hear the single? , its not on their myspace and youtube says its been removed due to a copyright claim from Nuclear Blast. New Earth is gonna be killer aswell, should be out soon I hope.
I'm looking forward to what this year has in store for sure. Right now though, Im waiting for "obZen", the new track is monsterous.
That's probably mine, too. Heard the first single--sounds like Meshuggah. Can't wait. Isole and especically...
